The annual Birmingham IV usually takes place on the last weekend of term in December. It has a fantastic reputation for featuring top quality debaters and lively motions. Last year’s Birmingham IV was an incredibly successful event. Teams from all over the world came to compete and the standard was very high. The IV also involved popular socials in the evenings. World’s breaking judge, barrister, and Birmingham alumna Hannah Bush was the Chief Adjudicator. The event was convened by Alison Abrahams and Beth Jobbins.
